Right.

The big corporations are awash in cash. Huge amounts of it. They don't need financing. AAPL I think has $100 billion in its coffers.

How does a bank justify loans to risky real estate investors in this day and age?

Many of the regional banks are operating under consent orders.

Seems like a near-certainty that in view of the USD slide, Bernanke will show some testicular fortitude and send a signal suggesting less QE or even end of it, which should tank commodities and the stock market and raise rates. Of course, more QE will take place in the poop-storm which will follow.

IOW I agree with Casey and all those who suggest a pause in QE followed by more of it.

An opportunity and a lot of risk there. Probably a good time to unload speculative positions, miners, etc.
