"And with the Nook Color now being classified as a tablet, add another 3 million Android tablets to the ones sold last quarter."

This statement just goes to show how idiotic the market share myth is, as if some arbitrary new "classification" of the Nook Color as a tablet has any impact on Apple's business. Selling 5 million iPads has the same exact same business importance whether some analyst thinks if it as 90% of the tablet market or 15% of the computer market.

As Road Walker said, only fanboys care about market share.

Now I will stipulate that the new Nook firmware does introduce features that would make it compete with the iPad in certain market segments, but that's also true whether analysts elect to recognize it as a tablet or not.
