The problem is the Democrats make a lousy opposition party when they're out of the White House. Instead of constraining the Bush administration, they just piled on to his programs with more spending and more tax cuts. I admit the Pubs aren't doing such a good job at it under Obama. The real problem is that the Fed is keeping a lid on interest rates.
