Keep in mind, when it comes to the tax breaks for the wealthy, the Republicans insist that these tax breaks are necessary to spur economic growth and create jobs. But they weren’t in place during the prosperous 1990s. Since they were put in place in 2001, we’ve seen a steady economic decline, an exploding debt and a crippling deficit. They’ve had 10 years to create jobs, and they haven’t. That's a tough one...no one has had a satisfactory answer, save for the typical winger hail mary explanation...9/11, recession left over, the dog ate my homework... Al
