Jobs matter more than the deficit right now. That has not always been the case. We had a great chance to reduce the deficit in the period from 2001 to 2007. We squandered that chance with tax cuts for the wealthy and unfunded wars.

Just say everyone works for the government and send them monthly checks. Then claim jobs created and unemployment is gone forever. Most are already getting government checks anyway. What is the problem? It could be called the minimiun wage non wage.
