Dave: No problem. I am, as are many, troubled by the IBD article. HTMMIS says absolutely nothing about late "follow through" days being a valid indicator of anything important. I think Atin hit it right. Late moves like 11/13 often produce short moves of a month or so. I've never seen such a beast, but it would seem it should end like a "failed rally". A distribution day somewhere down the line.

I don't like the idea, and will spend the weekend trying to see what broke to new high territory. Why sould a CANSLIM'er get excited about a move of one month's duration on the heals of such a vicious downturn? If the new high list is again full of utilities (like the past couple of days), I'll treat 11/13 as a bottom and count for the 3-10 day window.

BTW, Chapter 7 of HTMMIS is open on my desk full time these days. :)
