Fixing the jockeys has always been a good system. Bay Meadows once got so bad that bookies said they'd rather take bets on the WWF than Bay.

A lot of jockeys get suspended for drug use. More are dating or married to showgirls. That makes some easy targets.

I have seen jockeys strangle horses to get them to slow down. Sometimes the horses have so much heart that they fight them. A lot of folks were suspicious when Desormeaux pulled up Big Brown at The Belmont.

Say what you want about Obama and Trump, but I think the Donald is also making a not-so-subtle crack at the Harvard admissions department.

By the way, Donald Trump is a UPenn Wharton alum.
