Excellent point, SG. Perhaps of even greater importance, is the question of how does the intelligence of the U.S. population below the 50th percentile compare to the same demographic in China today? What about in 10 years? 20 years? 30 years? It may be wise to bet on the Yuan appreciating and the clownbuck depreciating to reflect the demographic reality of the United States today, as well as future projections. To be sure, the path down will not be linear for the clownbuck, but it will be down over time. Unless China and the BRIC-clique significantly errs, the U.S. and British currencies are toast.
