Re AMZN and BRCM reactions: It makes a lot of sense when you think about it. AMZN sells infotainment and it is a net stock -- they will "make it up" on the expected volume <g>.

[I bet AMZN misses it revenue forecast for next quarter by a good margin.]

BRCM OTOH makes real stuff which has to go into products that people buy and use for a period of time ... there are costs on the input side that are probably in for greater increases due to a number of factors including: Japan, Ben's jumpstart program or those darn 3rd world countries or speculators bidding up the prices of those inputs. People are used to the prices of these things ... might forgo a new one if they try to pass cost increases on??

Sell the pump coming from the chump. Watch out for flying softballs and carp ... I might just have to watch some of the video.
