I finally just today ordered most of the parts to assemble
a PC. I'm going to see if I can find a case I like at the PC
recycle place--but I did get a new power supply which is
'80 plus bronze' certified, price was right. Couldn't find
the list of memory that's been checked out for my motherboard,
so just got 2x2GB of DDR3 1333, G.Skill $40.

On the one hand I wanted to follow the new AMD fusion chips,
and on the other I wanted to get going. So paid a little
extra and went ahead got the Intel i3-2100t, which is 35w.

I'll report back in a few weeks if I pull it off <g>.
