You don't suppose that the (mostly) across-the-board tech bear market or correction has a teeny-weeny bit to do with COMS's decline, do you? Ray

<BTW, isn't it the smaller brokerage houses that reiterated their buys recently?>

Comments from two major brokerage houses on Nov. 12 when the price was 35.13; both maintained buy rating.

Goldman Sachs: "Reduced estimates but valuation remains compelling."

Deutsche Morgan Grendell: "We feel that recent weakness in 3Com's price presents an opportunity for sophisticated investors who can appreciate 3Com's long-term stategic value and look past short-term issues."

I bought after the merger announcement knowing I was buying a roller coaster ride. I try to avoid heavy institutional holding since the herd will cause big swings but in this case I decided for the long term potential.
