I have to agree with you on this one. There is no need to watch CNN Headline News every 30 minutes. Sadham Husein is the one who has to watch the CNN Headline news every 30 minutes.

I do not expect any military action by the UN/US until next weekend. The reason is the second Aircraft Carrier battlegroup will not arrive until next weekend. (Next Saturday or Sunday). And judging from previous pattern US Armed Forces will not make any offensive moves without two Carrier Battlegroups present in a hostile environment. Usually the first Carrier Battlegroup will launch all its attack aircrafts (F-18) and fighters (F-14), the second Carrier Battlegroup will only launch half of its attack aircrafts, but reserves all its fighters for protection and the defense of both Battlegroups while the airstrike is underway.

I think the market will go up after any military action from the UN/US. The reason is it will lift the uncertainty factor. One thing the market doesn't like is the uncertainty. Remember the first day operation Desert Storm begin the market rally big time. So I will welcome any military response by UN/US anytime. It will be positive for the market.

Our attention should be focused on Japan (Our biggest trading partner). If Japan goes belly up, those who are long in the market will have the honor to test their will and personal courage in perhaps the worst bear market in recent memories.
