I would not be surprised.

I think a public figure, especially a president, should welcome the opportunity to provide any information asked for if it is a condition of employment. That's leadership. Honesty and openness are the best leadership qualities. Qualities we seldom see in politicians.

A rule is rendered useless if it can't be or won't be enforced. IMO there is absolutely no excuse for him to refuse to provide what ever is asked for if it is a rule. If being black is an excuse I think he should not have aspired to the office.
