I do completely agree with you.

The biggest wars of 300 or more years a go where fought in the name of religion.

Way too many nations in the Americas where decimated in the name of Religion.

First Mohamed and his successors imposed his rule and subjugated others in the name of religion, then this pretences moved to the Crusaders and now we may witness the Sunni Shia resulting in the greatest conflict of the last century.
