sm, 50 contracts, 100 shares per contract. somebody is buying puts in anticipation of further price erosion and nobody is buying calls.

who is buying puts? 19,000 puts (over $60k in one day?) not grandma, imho ;-) perhaps this has been a trend for many days. i will watch it going forward.

if i wanted to ditch out millions of shares - and fidelity owned over 36 million shares of mu when they were $60 - i'd buy puts so that when i sold and drove the price down i would make money on the leverage of the options.

pure speculation on my part... though somebody is clearly putting (pun intended) their money on mu going down...
