Yes ...hard to find but...are available.

I have some old biographical materials of Gann. This is key. Modern day authors books interperate what they preceive where Gann's view.
Most modern day authors dismiss the astrological aspects in his works.
Why? my guess is:
It dosn't make for good copy when your trying to write a book about technical trading to Wall Street Gucci suits and talk about stars and planets in the same light.

Gann (as was Fibbonacci), were not only mathmaticians, but accute astrologers in their own right. The older materials by Gann himself go into this .. Biggest problem in his writtings is that he assumes the reader has a good grasp of certian preconceived fundamentals on subjects that are beyond the common layman. What he precieves as obvious others see as conjecture.

Anyway to get to your question

I know one man who I beleive has in his possession what I think are 1st run reprints of Gann originals. He has a very large, very old collection works.

Have not seen him in 14 years but know where to find him.
Met him years ago and spent a weekend with him on his estate. We shared many things of which his Gann archives were but one.

With a proper introduction... he may be convinced to share some of his materials with others.. It would be for him to decide.

Ted .. if your really that serious, let's discuss it off SI via E-mail...

As per your other mention in your post
... lets have some fun since you also mentioned puzzles.:-)

Here's the proposition Mr. Ted...

Brave Knight!... solve the riddle and you will get the prize

Here is your chance to play fund manager for the day. You get a simple scenario. (The historical data as it where.)

Tell me were to invest based on what you calculate the next future outcome to be. Be ready to explain why you invested my money on as you did.

The historical data:

I flipped a coin of 10 times. It lands on the floor coming up HEADS 8 times in a row..

End of historical data..

Place your bets with my money Mr. Fund manager.!!!

. What are the odds of a TAIL on the next flip ?
Do I bet on tails. or is the trend my friend?
What do you do?. what are the odds?

Do you invest on heads or tails for flip #9 ?

Bet Gann would know! :-). its knowing the true odds by measuring all parts of the equation.

The market is an odds game... let's see how many readers really know the true odds.

Give it a go Ted... see if you can solve the riddle..

Is the trend your freind? Or ... do you buck the trend picking the turn as it where?

Good luck...:-)

PS.. a hint

A glass of water is on a table... some see it as half full.. some half empty... who is right?

Let me think...Hmmmmmmmmmm

How about I say they are both wrong. The answer lies within the question. Look at all parts of the Question (variables as it where) in order to compute the proper answer. Gan would tell you that you can't find the proper answer unless you have all the variables needed to compute within the equation to arrive at the correct measurement..

Good luck...
