Mr. Bean, Please broker this message to Dr. Cowpland:

Today I saw two Suite 8 television commercials. One on CNN, and the other on A & E's "Biography" on Edward R. Murrow. I'm pleased to see advertising efforts "taking off" again. FOCUS ON THE SUITE!

However, since airtime costs the same regardless of content, I want to see "you" on my T.V. screen pitching WordPerfect Suite 8, and Draw 8 in separate spots. TELL THE PUBLIC WHY THEY SHOULD BUY WORDPERFECT SUITE 8--"IACOCCA STYLE."

There is very little production cost associated with this approach and you will find that it will create an emotion to "buy" if produced properly. PERSONALIZE THIS THING. CONNECT WITH THE MASSES. PUT EARNINGS ON THE INCOME STATEMENT AND CASH IN THE BANK.

This approach may seem risky, especially facing the prospect of personal rejection. But it will likely result in the "ultimate acceptance" of a terrific Suite 8. Most of the public knows very little about the company "Corel." YOU HAVE THE CHARISMA TO JUMPSTART THIS THING IF YOU ARE NOT AFRAID. The "Gala" indicated that you have "guts" for better or worse. TURN THAT TRAIT INTO SOMETHING TRULY POSITIVE FOR COREL AND ITS SHAREHOLDER'S AND TAKE THE ULTIMATE RISK. PUT YOUR "MOUTH" WHERE YOUR "MONEY" IS. DR. COWPLAND, DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? PERSONALLY PITCHING COREL'S PRODUCTS is a substantive way to create "tomorrow's news."

Maybe Up, Up, ain't all that far Away!

Scott

Thanks Bean.
