this is a phenomena that you just have to shake your head at -- I noticed this 3 years ago -- I teach at a community college that has its share of folks who are just getting by -- but every last one of them has either an I-phone or its equivalent ... This and the internet => the dumbing down and brainwashing of the already marginal citizen ...
