Lower the rate an make it advantageous for them to do so here rather than some offshore country. All Obama has to do is ask his Buddy, Jeff Immelt, what that would be.

(they had a lot of loss carry over this year but they don't mention that in the playbook)

GE should be on the hook like several other companies to pay their legitimate* share of taxes in US.

Even though our biggest problem is a spending problem with our government, the fact that U.S. companies can avoid paying U.S. income taxes is beyond comprehension. It's time to totally revamp the income tax structure in the U.S. Any budgetary solution that doesn't include a complete restructuring of how taxes are collected in this country is a sham.
