Tommy Douglas's medical care is a crock. My care is no better than 1965. It is less professional. There are fewer doctors. They won't take new patients. They are incompetent. Bed space in hospitals is an exorbitant gouge of the tax payer's wallet. There are not enough beds or MRI's for routine work. They are wasting our money. A mind bogglin fact I often repeat is that ALL levels of taxation in B.C., provincial corporate, federal tax, excise, Sales tax, property tax, business tax, income tax and I think gas tax too are NOT ENOUGH to cover that province's medicare bill!!!

What this says is that if it were not for Alberta Oil, Canada would be bankrupt. I know Ontario is now a net receiver of transfer payments from the Fed Gov. Translation: They get oil money. This is the reason the Feds want higher oil royalties on the Oil Sands. They is broke. They have been spending money like drunken sailors for 43 years and the chickens have come home to roost.

Harper says that if the NDP gets in, or is the official opposition to a minority government that gas will increase by 10 cents a litre. Nice. I think taxes will increase by 1 cent per person per minute.

I also think that if there were a minority government that there will be civil war by fall.

I'm my own business. Pay 20K in insurance (no dental) for a family of 3. Use my wife as she is 5 years younger or the premium would be higher. We did switch to a more expensive plan this year so it covers out of plan expenses.

In CT, Lyme is only covered for 2 months then you need an specialist 2nd opinion and the specialist all go by IDS guidelines.
