The Company believes that inductive head-media solutions offer its customers superior price/performance value compared to competing products utilizing magnetoresistive ("MR") heads and disks

I can't help but get the impression that this was written before the WD announcement that they were getting out of TFI.

Looking at the home page of Maxtor, one of their customers, their diamond max line appears to be MR while the crystal max line is TFI. The Crystal Max 1080 announced last Feb. was their latest in that line. Since then they have come out with two Diamond products. Oddly enough the Crystal Max products cost about twice the Diamond products for the same size according to a randomly chosen vendor. cyberglobe.net
