Sheila, Yes it sure sounds like they rushed this one to market a bit too fast! Of course they are in severe financial condition and time is of the essence, but they are off on the wrong foot and it will take a while to live down the bad press such as this in such a lofty publication as the WSJ... It will be interesting what kind of spin they will put on these problems at COMDEX where they will be demoing the new Sparq and all its "real neat" stoneage utilities. Good investing in IOM... Did we read the same article? The columnist clearly stated that the SparQ drive worked great running full video clips and applications. His main complaint? The installation software. And you can be sure that this software is being improved as we speak (if it hasn't been already). If I remember correctly, there was a product called Jaz that also suffered from some software problems early on, with many, many unsatisfied customers. The jist of the column was overall favorable to SparQ, his recommendation being to wait until improved installation software is available.
