Ok, I'm still not sure of the question. Do you mean which state is in my heart? I loved California in my youth. But, the California of today is nothing like it. I miss the old California. I think everyone has a soft spot for the land of their birth. However, I am a Montanan through and through now. Colorado was beautiful but overrun with Californians who had brought their yuppie culture with them. Gag me with a maggot! I've been here nine years now. Koty and I hike like hiking fools. In that time I doubt I have run into 9 people on the trails in the Kootenai. As far as I'm concerned I've already died and gone to heaven winters and all.
