>> Why was he asked...because he's black?

This entire complaint is just plain ignorant. Personally, I'm sick of it. It is as though the entire Left has adopted the tejek line of reasoning: If you have no explanation why YOU behaved a certain way, those asking must be racists.

There is no evidence, none whatsoever, that there is any racist tie-in on the birther idea.

He was asked because he wasn't properly vetted by the liberal media. Period. Had the media done its job, there would, as with other presidents, have never been any question about it. But they failed.

CNN, last week, sent a man to Hawaii who investigated the story and ran down every clue and came back with the answer: The man was born in Hawaii. Had they done that 3 years ago, it would have been a non-problem.

When GWB was running, the media had a field day with his SAT scores, which the Washington Post obtained prior to his election. We STILL don't have that information about Obama, or any explanation of how Obama was able to afford Harvard. One can argue that we shouldn't have any access to that information, but there is a clear double standard -- as the media has consistently dug up and released education histories on GWB, Gore, Kerry, and Clinton. Suddenly, it isn't important anymore.

Now, the media wants to call it "racism". Bullshit. It is other people doing their jobs for them.
