It's a week short of 5 months. If you do that, and you want to include earnings season in early 2012, you'd have 4 months to the end of January.

I'd rather have 4 months next round and then 5 months for round 17.

Ending at the end of a calendar quarter misses the effects of the most earnings reports, so I'm against the end of September.

More companies are on calendar quarters than otherwise which allowed a lot of earnings reports near the end of this round to affect the competition and keep suspense and opportunities high. I'd like more of that.

So I prefer to end this round at August 26.

And the next one to run from September 2 (markets are closed 9/5 but we allow trading Tuesday 9/6) through January 27, 2012, about 5 months.

I want:

Round 16: May 6 - Aug 26, 2011
Round 17: Sep 2 - Jan 27, 2012

If we get another up week going into the start my bet is the next winner will have gone short.
