Those young people think that they are big free thinkers, but they are lemmings. Quite a few of them, probably, knew the song, but they kept their mouths shut - fearing that the crowd would go after them, and they would get laughed out of the sophisticated company, and that girls wouldn't like them.... g/ng

We come out of a generation where Sunday School was a common experience. All gone now. I raised my kids secular. We really need "history of the Bible" taught as a Liberal Arts course in College. I took that at SMU in my 2nd year.

It's like these people on the TV show and I have NOTHING in common. It's like they came from some alien culture that grew up completely independently from the one I come from. They have no roots, no heritage, nothing connecting them to the past. It's the Dumbed-Down generation. Since the Department of Education was established under Carter, education has gone straight downhill. It's also why today's music, for the most part, sucks - no knowledge of where it all came from and no ability to pioneer new, fruitful paths. Secondarily, multiculturalism has splintered society rather than bringing us all around our common, shared interests. CF Rebel
