I agree. I said corporations have no conscience and should not be expected to make social decisions. But people have been doing exactly that.

"Just leave them alone to regulate themselves they say."

In fact corporations must be monitored by society. As they lack a conscience they will pour mercury in a river if society does not prevent it.

Corporations should be taxed and the money used by our democratically elected society to provide welfare.

That is how it should work and the concept some are missing.

Right, that's why the corps have lobbied the taxpayer right into eternal debt servitude.

What you meant was this:

The sole purpose of a corporation is government sponsored welfare benefitting the largest, most ruthless corporations at taxpayers' expense.
