Describes me very well Jim, and I will add that IMO some of the best legislation comes through compromise, Unfortunately we have seen precious little of that for a few years.

I totally disagree. In spite of the rhetoric coming out of the conservative party, over the years they have been in minority status there has been much compromise. You can't believe what they say you better watch what they do. If we get a new minority government of whatever character, they will compromise because the Canadian electorate will not stand for another election in the short-term. We are really fed up now and any party will recognize this.

Saw I think Breccia's right on the compromise stuff.. and that is why Harper/Flaherty presented a budget they knew would not be supported.. They called this election.. tired of compromising. and if NDP make the big gains many fear.. it will be on the conservative's plate..

More interesting to me is the next provincial election in Ontario... McGuinty has to go.. just reviewed my provincial tax against my federal.. considering the mess McGuinty has fomented here he has to go.. but our provincial choices are far worse than the federal ones IMO..

I voted for Rae.. disaster :o(

I voted for Harris ... disaster :o(

I voted for McGuinty ... worse disaster than Harris.. which I thought impossible..
