There are issues with corporate capture of government. There are issues with a "fair" distribution of income. There are issues with executive compensation and the effective capture of the board of directors by management. There are issues with the best way to fund government, and the correct level of that funding and the corresponding size of the government. There are issues with what services government should provide and how to best monitor if they are being supplied in a reasonably efficient manner (given that the profit motive does not apply here). There are issues with government oversight/regulation effectively and honestly overseeing and regulating.

Doesn't change the fact that corporate taxes are a consumption tax, passed on to the users of the companies products. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing (other than in the sense that all taxes act as an economic brake, if only because of the government handling fee imposed), just that they aren't something else.
