Couldn't agree more with your post. Posting my portfolio is my attempt to show my belief that growing an income stream and besting the averages over the long term go hand in hand. It is early yet, we'll see.

Congrats to your son on his income growth. Looking at it is almost enough to make me want to go back to work so I can contribute again.... Nah, we are in the middle of grass mowing and gardening time. I'll have to grow what I have. gg

WELL SAID, AND MY SENTIMENTS EXACTLY. I do participate in selling covered calls occasionally, {this is the first month I didn't do BMO for example} and that has increased my income stream somewhat.

Toronto's main stock index rose Tuesday as Bank of Montreal(BMO) kicked off Canada's bank-earnings season with an 19% increase in third-quarter profit, beating analyst expectations.

Guess quality still matters:)
