Hi John,

I'm sorry that you're sorry. Thank you for that great post, it was very informative. But, that report actually supports my speculation about the Nikkei. Here's how. I believe the bad news just released is already factored into the market in Japan. Here's why. The news finally hit their main street to inform John Q. Public. The smart money already knew this long ago. The problem didn't suddenly happen overnight, and the savvy big money has been selling off those stocks for the past 2« years.

The way I see it, whenever I see something market related written in the papers, I have to believe I'm the last person to know. I almost always believe that the news has already been discounted in the market, you might say something like a lagging indicator. I believe that by the time newspapers and magazines publish stories about a market issue, the market is about to turn. Have you ever heard of someone making a profit by following the implied advise of a journalist? No disparagement intended towards journalists. I think I'll stick to my guns.

BTW, thank you for your kind words about my call in the bond market. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than smart. I'll tellya, this is a tough way to make an easy buck.

Have a great weekend.
