Philadelphia Phillies fans chanted “USA USA” during last night’s game against the NY Mets after President Obama undefinedannounced that Osama bin Laden was killed in a raid by U.S. Navy Seals.

While Americans celebrated in the streets in front of the White House and at Times Square as shown in this photograph, baseball fans in the City of Brotherly Love diverted their attention from the game to acknowledge the incident.

Normally we don’t mix politics with our sports site unless it’s important enough like when a Prima Donna travels around the country dropping pucks at NHL games trying to take the identity of a “hockey mom” or like this incident when MLB was mixed with a long-awaited justice.

BTW, it was reported that bin Laden was buried at sea so as a precautionary measure like when the BP oil spill contaminated the waters, I won’t be eating fish for a while.

Here’s the video below and when you watch it, pay take notice of the game being in the 9th inning with a 1-1 score.
