Wll, the Pakistanis have nukes, so it is not as simple as that. We have to keep our relations with them for that reason alone, keeping in mind that they some may be taking our money and betraying us at the same time. Some Pakistani officials are no doubt friendly to us. They may very well have helped in our efforts to locate and nail OBL.

The US/Pakistani relationship has to be one of the most complex imaginable. However, I don't think we can simply declare it an enemy country because the reality is very complex and we undoubtedly do have useful friends there.

If it did not have nukes and was located somewhere else, I doubt very seriously that we would give two hoots about it.
