Question to all daytraders: What intraday charting techniques do you use to determine buy and sell points throughout the day on your personal basket of stocks? I have relied soley on market direction (sp futres), tos and lvl2 and news to be able to jump in on quick spurts and short at intraday highs based on market direction... I am looking for some charting technique to round out my arsonal of daytrading tools. I use ATFI and have access to advanced charting tools... any help would be appreciated! BTW, these mms are getting more and more sneaky by the day. The allure of fast money in daytrading has brought a lot of suckers to the table and the mms jiggle and headfake just about everyone at one point or another. These mms will hit every stop and mental stop and then turn the direction right back around.. jumping off the bid, casuing panic selling and then taking right back up... I have also noticed that the mms realized a lot of amateurs have instinet access and will jiggle and headfake traders even before the market open... trading is becoming more and more dangerous... very tough to play anything pre-market usless you know the catalyst has legs..
