Hi Venkie, Welcome to the AMAT Thread!...You may have already bought slightly above the bottom. If you invest for the Long-term---Good. The stock is temporarily out of favor by Short-term oriented Analysts and Investors who are "Selling The Present" at discounted prices. When things get to normal, they are going to come back to AMAT because there are not too many good places to go. They have nothing against this profitable company, they are just scared of the turmoils going on in financial markets worldwide. Long-term Investors, particularly the small guys in the meantime are "Buying The Future" at give-away prices...
