Haz, Re Numac, I was referring to the post which mentioned that Numac had sold off some of their production (something like 2300 BOED for $63M(don't quote me,just off the top of my head)), my comment had to do with the price they were getting for the production. The price seemed pretty good, therefore my thinking was that it was probably a good deal for Numac. Re Numac, I have no intention of selling until their price increases or their CFPS decreases. I too feel that at current prices they are cheap. This is my investment stradegy, try to buy cheap and sell at market price. I get very few doubles or triples(or home runs), happy with the 15-40%(singles and walks). Scott

Kerm / All / Q Energy

Q Energy is the remains (33,000 undeveloped acres + 100 bls/d ) from the sale of NuGas Energy to Taragon Energy during this past summer.

I received 3.60 cash plus 1 share of Q Energy for every share of Nugas. I really haven't analyzed this stock yet and I don't think there is much to analyze, Q3 will be out shortly but the numbers are meaningless since there was only 2 weeks of production in Q3.

I have decided to keep my shares of Q Energy and maybe add to them for these reasons ;

1 - I made a nice profit on the cash portion of the Taragon offer that I don't mind losing this portion (let it ride mentality, my gambling instincts)

2 - The management of NuGas including Nugas president Peter Malencia are now running Q Energy. Their track record at Nugas was impressive.

3 - Major shareholder Windsor Energy is also keeping their shares of Q Energy (Windsor owned approx. 15 - 20 % of Nugas and made a nice profit from the takeover).

4 - Taragon has lent Q Energy 3 million for their exploration expenses (not confirmed from company, other source but should be reliable)

5 - Some recent discoveries in the Edson area will be announced this week.

After the recent spate of takeovers in the O&G sector there are many displaced O&G executives looking for work and as we have seen their recruitment with junior companies like Colony & Bonavista has helped their stocks considerably.

I'm not suggesting that Q Energy stock will move as they have but I like the management and properties, so if they can replicate the same success that they have in the past then we all should profit.

Look for more positive news from this company.

Cheers and good investing
