koll - it is an great thing to do. I remember being with a group of friends and the subject of gifting and leaving an inheritance nest egg came up. I was stunned that the others at the table had no interest in it. I think that is wrong. When our daughter was young I was working ridiculous hours and she paid a price for my absence. At least now she is getting some rewards for that work effort. When I announced I was retiring at 60 1/2 she did not believe it was possible. LOL - I did it and do not regret it for one minute. Bob
