Roly,

Nothing changed of Analysts views on AMAT, really. Like last year when the stock was at the bottom, they were saying they like AMAT Long-term but were not buying Short-term; just like they are saying now as the stock is near or at the bottom.

Last year, I seized the Opportunity of a Lifetime with a simple thought:---If they are to be proven right, then I could Buy now while the stock is cheap and then sell, 6 to 9 months later when said Analysts start buying the stock again. That way I'm well ahead.

That was a simple thought of a simple mind...

Re: "60% of equipment sales in the SE Asia region"

SEA= Southeast Asia=that part of Asia south of China and east of India. This does not include Japan, Korea, or Taiwan. The analyst in the briefing.com link you posted made an incorrect statement, because he obviously has a very vague grasp on where the countries are that he is talking about. If you subtract the 25% for Japan, and the 25% for Korea and Taiwan, that leaves just 5% of equipment sales in the SE Asia region.
