Well, OK, but they should start with pure C++ and pure Java classes and then provide ActiveX wrappers to expose the objects after the fact. That's what I'm doing, I have a nice clean C++ library for C++ development and I wrap that in ActiveX interfaces which cannot use user-defined types and where even the use of a simple array requires a page or two of code versus a line or two in either Java or C++. BTW, this news about ISO standard Java is huge. I hope that I can abandon Windows altogether and write Java code for the foreseeable future. Right now, it's still C++ and ActiveXcrement.
