"The water won't be coming in like a Japanese tsunami, you know."

Except for during storms and hurricanes!

"We'll adapt. The water won't be coming in like a Japanese tsunami, you know. Plenty of time to relocate whoever we can."

We will also have to relocate a lot of farmland. You are aware that the rivers that flow into the oceans will be affected also? And that the back pressure will mean that rivers will be diverting to other paths to the oceans as a result?

"Either that, or we'll all have to live without flying, driving, or using electricity"

Bullshit. It would require no such thing.

But, fear mongering is all you have, isn't it?
