Hi ! 3COM had dropped so much in so short a time, I have totally lost interest in discussing anything about 3COM :-(

Any psychiatrist out there who can explain this strange mental state ??

That will depend on the earnings and conference call in December. I think there is tremendous downside pressure and COMS may retest its lows before going significantly higher in mid '98. I would not buy until after the conference call.

I think that at a PE of 13, Coms is a very compelling buy. This could easily hit 50 short term.

True. But, the market is expecting a lower EPS and so the true P/E as of this quarter could be much higher than 13. We will know on earnings announcement date (??).
