Infoseek (SEEK) looks to be an interesting internet play. It has not risen in value with the other three yet it seems to to be ranked 2nd or third in terms of users. They have just announced a partnership with Microsoft and also have some interesting search engine patents. At $11-12 a share they seem to be over looked by the market.

Dennis G.,

Thanks for the advice.

IMHO CREAF is closer to a "Microsoft" in multimedia solutions than any of the Internet stocks. The barrier to entry on the Internet is a lot less than playing catch up to CREAF in the multimedia area.

Sure Microsoft may buy an existing Internet company- but then they may just open their own too. In fact if that were to happen, then that to me would be a major signal to short all of the current Internet stocks....

Unless something changes I see CREAF as a core portfolio stock, long-term hold. CHIP HUNTER- check out the Internet stocks if you're looking for some short material....

Sincerely,

Doug F.
