GZ,
Thank you for the response. I believe I'm beginning to belong in the deflationary camp. If the $ is so high, a decrease in demand worldwide is forthcoming. At home we have an indebted public that probably cannot take up for the decrease in overseas demand. I think this will take a while to play out here in the US in the way of decreased revenue and profits. The over seas (OS)markets will begin to recover before the US does because the delationary effects will be late in arriving. Therefore the OS markets are not only cheaper than they were, but will probably have the earliest recovery. I think that shorting the bonds is a great idea, for the long term. Yields certainly can't get too much lower. However, for me, some aspect of timing is required. Right now, I don't have a feel for what that may be. Any way, these are just my opinions, and I've been wrong a lot.

Thanks again for the info and have a great weekend,

Peter :o)
