But has AAPL recycled itself and its stock now trading at $18 ??

Disregarding current competition does AAPL again have the product set it had when/after LISA failed ?

Maybe ; if it can hold its Mac (desktop) business , expand into Enterprise servers , solidify its niche (publishing , education) markets and look for new , in demand (e.business - web pub. etc.) opportunities .

Chrysler and Lockheed did it .

I do not know if he still own the stock. To my best knowledge, it is this year that Apple dropped to around $15. You may want to check the date.
