I have a chow chow mix that needs to be reminded she's not the queen of the dog world. She couldn't care less about other dogs, and in fact seems to prefer not to have to deal with them at all. I tried socializing her with other dogs and people and she couldn't care less. Some dogs are just that way. I'm convinced it's necessary, but I'm also convinced dogs with spitzer type ears are less likely to socialize than dogs with floppy ears.
