Thanks for the offer, Steve. About the same time as the discussion was happening here, Garner Ted Armstrong had a program dealing with what I believe was basically the same thing. I sent for the additional info from his program; I've yet to read it or listen to the tape which accompanied the literature. So I would only be subjecting you to an unneccesary expense, but I appreciate the thought. How about a story. Would one of God doesn't exist people care to explain this: When I was Jr. High, my sunday school teacher at the time had a daughter which had developed or caught or however one contracts, lukemia. His daughter eventually died, but towards the end of her life she was in great discomfort. She had a very hard time sleeping. My sunday school teacher told us that while he was in prayer his daughter would sleep. When he stopped, she awoke. Talk about the power of prayer! I seem to have gotten the impression that this little ritual went on for sometime. God doesn't exist,not from my experiences. But is faithfulness an easy road? Hardly. I'm lazy.
