I think we all need to be really wary of that when we go to the polls. I'm not suggesting we'd vote in a "Hitler" but our desire to return this country to what it was could cloud our voting judgment. I've thought about that a lot which is why I've sounded preachy about not wanting the repubs to get too aggressive. We'll end up with govt policy that flops around like a carp on a riverbank and that wont serve any of us well. Only good, consistent policy and patience are going to get us out of this and I'm not confident we have the people in place (at any level) to pull it off. They're serving too many masters - and none of them well
