We are bracing for floods here too. You ought to see the Canuckie Ruckies. They are just loaded with snow. Every drainage is at least 200% above normal. The melt hasn't even started, which it should have done, and it's slated to go into the 70's next week. Everyone is bracing for floods.

Fortunately for me, I sit on the side of a mountain looking down on the valley. Even so, my spring and creek are going to go lickety split! I have a 4 inch pipe that takes the spring water under a road and down to the house pond. It's already running at 90% capacity. Normal volume s about 10 gpm and I'm already close to 15!

They've drained the Koocanusa to a record low. I'm going to try and sneak down and take some photos of it today.
