Malaysian dancing girls? Perish the thought. Not to demean the Bumiputera lovelies, but they can't hold a candle. Or leastways, do the tricks with candles that the Bangkok dancers can do. Not that I've ever seen said tricks though.

Buenos Aires was really very nice. It's good to finally run into a city in South America where you don't have this subconscious feeling that you're about to be shanked with a bodkin and summarily divested of your fannypack or what have you. The Argentinians do not consider themselves to be South Americans, they all still somewhat snootily seem to think of themselves as immigrants from Europe. I suspect they'll try to join the EU sooner or later. The city is full of European (especially 18th Century French) architecture and well-kept parks. The cuisine is rather monotonous though. Beef, beef, and more beef.
