Maybe, but:

1. many thieves would take any white powder they suspect could be dope

2. Silver is familiar and more useful for barter

3. rare earths and the like are less likely to be valuable due to their esoteric nature, especially to buckwheats

hello haim, should you check back on the e-mail trails, you would note that i had no friends who were both (i) bullish of silver longterm AND (ii) had position in same silver.

all including self had exited to safety shortly before the fall of silver.

some friends were caught in the silver margin call by way of being simultaneously long and had not exited oil.

now we all wait for the screaming to end so that we might enter the arena and kick at some no long animate objects.

i do not plan to up my allocation to much of anything until at least september. market conditions would dictate my actual "weapons free" moment. i am waiting for a definitive crisis moment, the moment of darkest psychology.

am busy in 3D arena, as we have just engaged with s.african energy client who has imperative to try to salvage a mid-9 digits sunk-cost by adding our relatively smaller invoices on top in order to avoid transforming said cost into sunk-lost ;0)

chaos is a gift, crisis a partner, volatility friend ... i like trouble, bigger the better, more urgent, sweeter.

cheers, tj
